While at Loyola, I have been interested to learn how I can continue advocate for social justice through dance. I have seen many performances and interdisciplinary events that demonstrate using dance as a weapon for social justice, but I began to feel like our weapon was being used in somewhat of a bubble. While I have mostly written for dance-related websites, I am interested going forward to write about dance on platforms that may not have the topic being talked about otherwise.
